...invites you to audition for a position in our ensemble!

We are auditioning for Tenors at this time.

  • All auditions will be held by appointment.
  • Singers will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire regarding
    their prior singing experience and to assess their knowledge of music notation.
  • followed by a 15-minute session with artistic director Ms Agnes Mobley-Wynne,
  • All singers will be asked to vocalize for range assessment and to perform some sight-singing drills.
In addition, those singers wishing to be considered for solo opportunities should come prepared
to perform a piece of their own choosing, and bring sheet music for use by the director...
pre-recorded accompaniment is NOT acceptable.  This is NOT required for ensemble-only singers.

Successful candidates will be eligible for the Winter 2010 series
...rehearsals to commence in September 2009.

Singers also must:

  • be able to read music
  • demonstrate musicianship
  • attend rehearsals
  • pay annual dues
  • pay music fees
  • have appropriate formal concert attire:
    • Men: black tuxedo and shoes
    • Women: floor-length black dress/skirt/slacks with
      a standard black jacket (available by catalog order);
      black shoes and hose; tasteful jewelry (e.g., pearls)
