Ms Mobley-Wynne has degrees in music from the University of Richmond and the University of Maryland. She has taught voice at Old Dominion University since 1990, and has also taught at Christopher Newport University and The Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk. Among the local organizations with which Ms Mobley-Wynne has sung are the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the Virginia Opera. In 2005, she sang at the Innsbruck International Choral Festival. She has recorded two CDs with the Continental Army Band.
